UWEC Jazz Ensemble I has won the Downbeat award for “Best College Big Band” for their newest recording “Soul Searching.” I have some cool clips from this cd that should be posted within the week.

2009 was an exciting year for me, and although I was not in the public eye much, I was involved in many interesting ensembles, recording projects, and other musical endeavors. For 2010 I plan to be performing for public audiences much more regularly, and have several exciting projects in the works. I also plan to post my current happenings much more often on this site. Happy New Year!
